We invite your paid membership and active participation in the American Guitar Society. This insures that we continue to thrive. We cannot exist without your help in defraying the cost of insurance, concert expenses, rent, scholarships, honoraria, refreshments, postage, printing and internet fees. (Our officers and directors serve without pay. We are cheerful volunteers.)

In return for your membership, you receive a number of benefits:

  1. Special ticket pricing for our concert series. Free attendance at occasional master classes.

  2. The monthly Newsletter and Calendar are sent to you via email.

  3. Our meetings allow you to meet people who are interested in the classical guitar. This is a great place to share your knowledge and learn from others.

  4. Our meetings provide a venue for you to perform for others. Except for those appearing at a meeting for the first time, regular performers are encouraged to become AGS members.

The activities of the American Guitar Society are funded through donations for membership and scholarships. Thank you for your support!

Richard Denner Memorial Scholarships are awarded to community college students selected by their instructors.

Bickford Award Scholarships are awarded to student competition winners in Junior and Senior categories.

DONATE to AGS - In this PayPal link you can designate a purpose and direction for your donation. Specify an amount then click on “+ Write A Note” to specify your donation purpose. Please use this to donate to our 100th Anniversary event.

Donations to AGS may be tax deductible. AGS is a charitable organization as defined by 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Monthly AGS Newsletter is sent via email. If you cannot use email, we will send our newsletter via the USPS.
